skittle comic number 5

Dear Diary,
Some people were making fun of me in class because I’m a girl, so I researched if this had happened to anyone else before, or if I was alone, and I saw so many people had experienced the same thing! But, I still don’t know if anyone has taken action against it, I hope I can figure this out in the future!

Malala Yousafzai
Malala Yousafzai is a women’s educational activist, she got shot for protesting about what was right. According to the article “Malala Yousafzai: A Normal Yet Powerful Girl, On October 9th, 2012, Malala got shot by a Talib (Member of the Taliban) on a bus when she was just 14, and was in critical condition very long, even getting into a coma for 10 days, but made a full recovery and still fights for women’s educational right. This makes me think how brave Malala must’ve been to stand up to people she KNEW were dangerous, and even after getting fatally injured, she still went on.
Malala in the hospital after getting shot
You might be wondering, how did Malala get so inspired? According to the article “Malala Yousafzai: A Normal Yet Powerful Girl, " Malala was inspired by many people, such as Martin Luther King Jr.Gandhi, but she was mostly inspired by her father. Her father, Ziauddin Yousafzai. Ziauddin, unlike the Taliban, believes that daughters are good and that they too, have the right to education. He said, “Trust your daughters, they are faithful. Honor your daughters, they are honourable. And educate your daughters, they are amazing”.This makes me think what a great father Ziauddin was to Malala, and how much bravery he had to go against the very severe rules of a very dangerous group.
Malala’s father:
One very surprising thing is that even after Malala got shot, she still fought for women's rights, but what made her keep fighting? According to the article “Malala’s Address to the United Nations”, Malala believes that the Taliban are not bad, in fact, she doesn’t even have a grudge against the Taliban who shot her. She believes that the Taliban are just scared of women with education. She says: The extremists are afraid of books and pens. The power of education frightens them. They are afraid of women. The power of the voice of women frightens them. That is why they killed 14 innocent medical students in the recent attack in Quetta And that is why they killed many female teachers and polio workers in Khyber Pukhtoon, Khwa and FATA. This makes me think how forgiving Malala is because most people would never forgive anyone who shot them, but Malala does, she just thinks they’re misunderstood, Malala is very understanding and righteous, like Susan B Anthony.
Malala’s address to the UN
Susan B Anthony
Who is Susan B. Anthony? Susan B. Anthony worked for women’s rights, and though many more people have done this, she was the most famous one. According to the book “women’s rights movement” Susan B. Anthony, born in Massachusetts and born in 1820, spent most of her life fighting for women’s voting rights, and even got the amendment saying all women can vote named after her, “The Susan B. Anthony Amendment”. This shows Susan. B Anthony was very righteous, and worked very hard, so much in fact that she got an amendment named after her.
Susan B Anthony got her face on a coin from 1979 to 1981 As well as 1999.
Susan B. Anthony protested against the voting laws and said some very inspiring things. In the book “Women’s Rights Movement”, Susan B. Anthony and 15 other women voted for the election of 1872 illegally and got arrested. In court, the judge reminded Susan of the current laws, and in reply, Susan said “Yes, but laws made by men, under a government of men, interpreted by men and for the benefit of men. The only chance women have for justice in this country is to violate the laws, as I have done, and as I shall continue to do.” This shows that even though Susan was risking being a “criminal” she still stood up for herself, even though she was in front of people with power, I think she is very brave for that.
Susan’s trial
Susan B Anthony stood up for what was right in very outgoing ways. As the book “Women’s rights movement says, Susan opened a newspaper called “The Revolution”, this was a newspaper supporting the women’s suffrage movement. On Susan’s 50th birthday, a writer for the newspaper wrote a poem that says this verse: “She, caring not for the loss of men. Nor for the world’s confusion, has carried on a civil war. And made a “Revolution”. This shows that Susan had a big effect on people, she showed them respect, so in return, they showed her respect as well, like what happened to Emma Watson.
In the newspaper, Susan Wrote:
Emma Watson
Emma Watson is mostly known for her Harry Potter movies, but she is also a women’s activist According to the article “Emma Watson’s United Nations: “HeForShe: Gender Equality is Your Issue, Too” Speech”, “Emma Watson is a British actress, model, and activist, most widely known for her portrayal of Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film series. In 2014 Watson became a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador and helped launch the campaign HeForShe.” This shows that even though Emma Watson is mostly known for other things, she still is an important part of women’s history.
Emma Watson as Hermione Granger
Emma Watson launched a campaign called “HeForShe”, but what is this campaign? According to the article “Emma Watson’s United Nations: “HeForShe: Gender Equality is Your Issue, Too” Speech”, the HeForShe campaign is a campaign launched by Emma Watson that gets people to become advocates of gender equality, including men/boys. This shows that Emma Watson doesn't just want certain people for her campaign, but all the people she can get, she does not care who.
Emma Watson Saying her HeForShe speech
Why did Emma become a women’s activist? Well, According to the article “Emma Watson’s United Nations: “HeForShe: Gender Equality is Your Issue, Too” Speech”, Emma had gotten inappropriately taunted, and many of her (girl) friends did not want to become very muscley in fear of looking to “manly”. Her (boy) friends also often felt they couldn't express their real feelings while talking to a girl. This makes me think that Emma Watson is not like others who would just do nothing about it, she stood up for what she thought was right, like all the other women I’ve talked about.
Dear Diary,
Just like I said I would, I researched if anyone had taken action on this, and I saw so many amazing people, from Malala who's just 27 years old now, to Susan B. Anthony who’s 204 years old! So just like these amazing women, I too stood up to the people bullying me, and I feel very proud of myself!

People may say I'm self-obsessed
But I believe I'm just simply the best
The world revolves around me, Anita Bathe Lee.
My cousin says it's not true at all
“The world doesn't revolve around anyone, it's not so small!”
But why should I listen to him, it's clear to see
He can't even shave his poor dog, he should also give that to me!
If I want green tea, it should be served
Instantly, without delay
that's what I deserve!
Basically, I’m better than the rest.
in this universe, I’m the best.
I’m just too blessed.
Everyone must kneel before me,
Anita Bathe Lee!
My future husband
He must be cunning!
He must be funny!
He must be willing to give me anything, including a bunny!
He must be the politest gentleman I've ever seen!
But there's one thing that's non-negotiable
He must never eat beans
no matter how much he yearns
For the aftermath will leave us both in concern.
He must be the first one to apologize when we get into a fight!
( In case he’s reading this, I must warn you, I do bite.)
He must be exactly 6 foot 2 and 7 centimeters!
And god forbid he’s friends with anyone named Peter.
If his name is Mike
Him I shall fight
If his name Jack
Him I lack.
I want a future husband who will only look at me
And maybe his mom and dad
But only if his dad is named Chad.
My future husband must not EVER bring up my pickiness
Or I another guy I will kiss.
He must have 3-inch long hair
And me, he will most care.
He must have a cute British accent
Or I will shove him in a funeral casket
He must shower me with jewelry made of real pearls.
Never mind, instead, I want a girl.
I’m too shy!
Whenever I see a person
I scream!
I just can’t understand how other people see a person and beam.
While I feel like I’m in a bad dream!
If someone spots me, I'll jump out of my skin with fright!
And after that, you’ll see me out of there on a flight!
One time I had to give a presentation
I was supposed to read it out loud with dedication
But I just ended up reading it like a still-loading robot!
The teacher even asked me if my lines, I forgot!
When I see a person, my heart skips a beat.
Not the kind of skipping you get when you see your crush,
But the type of skipping you get when your afraid so much!
When they say hello
I mutter under my breath “Oh no!”!
I have no social skills.
I don’t think I ever will.
If I ever speak in public,
I’ll faint!
Or maybe I’ll make it look like I’m bleeding with paint.
So I can go to the ER
And get away from the stage.
My parents say take a public speaking class so in my life there will be a new page
But I think I’d rather get locked in a cage!
I’m so shy.
Maybe some day I’ll be the life of a party, all day saying “ee!”
Heh, maybe in dream.
My friend Sheila sells sea shells by the seashore
She won’t leave even one penny behind
One time I asked her for a bracelet that she designed
And then she ran around with a handful of sand screaming “I’m going to get it in your eye!”
Sheila’s shells look the finest, she finds them by a secret seashore she says.
But the price she sells them for, you’d think she stays looking for these shells for days!
Makes so many deals with money does Sheila,
I think people ought to start calling her “Deal-a”!
But I just think she’s a steala’!
One day I saw her at the dollar store
And in her basket lay the shells that were on sale for sixty cents
And she sells the same for seventy dollars!
“Steala’’” Now they should call her!
Seventy dollars!
I could’ve bought a Nintendo game!
I will expose her on TikTok, and make her lose all that fame!
And she should at least return all the money that came.
She’s rotten to the core!
Her name is Jessica, she tells me she’s my friend, but is she?
She tells me she’ll be with me until the end, but she calls me a curse word starting with “B”.
Sometimes she’ll tell me to shut up or go away
But when I say that she’ll punch me without delay
She says it’s all fun and games
But am I nothing more than a minion that she tames?
“Get me water!” “Pay for my lunch!” she screams
For some reason, the rest of her minions beam.
I always told myself I’d never beam if someone screams
But Jessica makes it otherwise
Whenever she screams “Get me water!”
I don’t seem to bother
Will I just become a minion of hers?
A minion like in “Despicable Me”?
She tells me that I get too full of myself
That I think I’m “Despicable”
When I’m actually predictable.
I don’t want to fall into her trap
But then again, she promised to give me her Taylor Swift cap.
So maybe, just until I get that cap
I’ll continue being her friend.
Even though she just uses me for laughs.
